Senate Bill 313 - The bill amends the Pharmacy Act, to create a registration and qualifications for a pharmacy technician. This is an individual who may assist in the practice of pharmacy under the immediate supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
 
Senate Bill 1023 - This bill amends the Acupuncture Registration Act (Act 2 of 1986) to change the requirement from "registration" to "license".
 
House Bill 489 - This legislation would amend The Volunteer Health Services Act, Act of December 4, 1996 (P.L. 893, No.141), to reduce the continuing medical education requirement for licensed volunteer nurses. Under the proposal licensed volunteer nurses would be required to obtain 20 continuing medical education credits as a condition of biennial license renewal. Under current law, volunteer nurses must meet the biennial 30 hour continuing education requirement in order to maintain their volunteer license.
 

House Bill 500 - The legislation amends the Medical Practice Act of 1985 (Act 112 of 1985) to license perfusionists.
 

House Bill 501 - The bill amends the Osteopathic Medical Practice Act (Act 261 of 1978) to license perfusionists.
